How the Trust Score Works: Methodology & Formula

Our Core Guarantee

Behind the Score: Understanding the Trust Score Formula

We use an unbiased, algorithmic approach based on 40+ objective data points to measure the reliability and safety of any given domain.

Score Distribution

Each category carries a specific weight to ensure the final score is holistic and fraud-proof.

1. Security Metrics (30%)
2. Domain Age/History (25%)
3. User Sentiment/Reviews (25%)
4. Server/Authority (20%)
TOTAL WEIGHTING 100%
1

Technical Security & SSL Validation

We perform real-time checks on SSL certificate validity, security header protocols (CSP/HSTS), and malware scanning history. Outdated security or a revoked SSL results in a severe deduction.

Contribution Weight: 30%
2

Domain History and WHOIS Registration

Domain age, continuous registration tenure (more than one year), and transparency of WHOIS data are key. Newly registered or frequently updated WHOIS records flag risk.

Contribution Weight: 25%
3

User Sentiment & External Reports

This includes analysis of user reviews on our platform and aggregated fraud reports from external government/consumer protection databases. High volumes of negative sentiment reduce the score significantly.

Contribution Weight: 25%
4

Server Location, Authority & Transparency

Server geolocation consistency, known IP reputation, and corporate structure transparency (e.g., publicly-listed vs. offshore) contribute to the final authority rating.

Contribution Weight: 20%
